    YOUR DAY TO REST, ROAM OR REVEL BY THE SEA.

    OPTIONAL EXPERIENCE - BOWA
    Spend a leisurely afternoon at Bowa. A chic restaurant and relaxing day club on an island just off Dubrovnik. Soak up the sun, the sea and the serene vibes at your own pace.

    The venue is open to the public and lunch is on you, but all friends and family are warmly welcome to join the experience.

    A DAY WHERE TIME PAUSES AND HEARTS ENTWINE BENEATH THE ANCIENT STONES OF DUBROVNIK, AS A LOVE STORY UNFOLDS IN REGAL CELEBRATION.

    The night draws to a close at 2am.

    Please allow sufficient time to walk and reach the entrance of the fortress. We recommend 15-20 minutes for comfort. Entry access points and map will be provided closer to the date.

    CASUAL FOOD AND DRINKS WILL BE PROVIDED.

We’re so grateful that many of you are travelling across the world to celebrate with us in Dubrovnik. To make your journey as smooth as possible, we’ve put together everything you need to know about getting here.

  • Fly directly into Dubrovnik Airport (DBV)
    This is the easiest and most convenient option. Dubrovnik Airport is well-connected, especially during summer, with many international and European flights.

    Alternatively - Fly into Split
    you can also fly into Split Airport (SPU). From there, it’s a 3–4 hour coastal drive to Dubrovnik. incredibly scenic, with beautiful views along the Adriatic.

  • Getting from Dubrovnik Airport to the Old Town
    Taxi / Uber / Private Transfer
    Taxis and Ubers are readily available outside the terminal.
    Travel time: ~20–30 minutes
    Estimated cost: €35–€55 per car

    Drop-off is at the city gates (the Old Town is pedestrian-only). if your’e self driving please note there is no parking near the old town, you won’t be able to drive down to the entrance.

  • Croatia uses the Euro (€).

    ATMs are widely available and credit cards are accepted almost everywhere, including restaurants, taxis and hotels. We recommend always having cash as some local stores only accept this.

  • In Croatia, a tip of 5-10% is a good guideline for restaurants, while rounding up the bill or leaving €1–€2 is common for cafés and taxis. For exceptional service, you can tip up to 15–20%.

  • The official language of Croatia is Croatian, but don’t worry most people working in tourist areas, restaurants and hotels speak English, so you’ll be in good hands.

    That said, learning a few simple phrases is a fun way to connect with locals, show respect for the culture and add a little extra magic to your trip. Here are some basics to get you started.

Finding the perfect place to stay will make your time in Dubrovnik even more special. we recommend staying between rixos hotel & hotel Excelsior.

This is our personal favourite. we haVe stayed many times and absolutely love it. Rixos sits along the coast with beautiful sea views, incredible buffet breakfast and easy access to both the Old Town and the water. It’s comfortable, has modern amenities with european style rooms.

The hotel is walking distance to town (20 MINS in flats) and 10 minutes to drive (depending on traffic).
We do however recommend driving to town for events for heat and heels.

  • Yes. Croatia is a safe, popular European destination with a strong tourism culture. We feel completely at ease celebrating there and hope you will too.

  • We’re unable to accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the invitation/RSVP.

    If you require your babysitter to attend the pre and post wedding events, please reach out to us.

  • We’d love for you to share photos from the celebration on social media! During the ceremony, we kindly ask that no photographs be taken so everyone can be fully present with us in the moment.

  • The Fortress Lovrijenac can only be reached by stairs. It’s an amazing historic venue and we feel so lucky to be celebrating there!

  • Your presence is the only gift we need. For those who wish to, a wishing well will be available.
